Faith to Move Mountains

Matthew 21:21
So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.

The Miracle of Mokattam Mountain.

A challenge was given to the early church in the book of Acts to actually move a mountain to save their church from persecution.

And so, after three days of prayers and fasting by the people throughout the land of Egypt, Simon the tanner was chosen to move the Mokattam Mountain. It is said that a great earthquake swept over the mountain. Each time the people stood up to worship, the mountain was thrust up and the sun would be seen from under it. Today The magnificent Cave Church stands as the authentic coptic church, of the first believers🙏🕊

How should we pray?

Matthew 6:5-6
And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners, up on platforms to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.

But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

Let our motives to pray not be for earthly rewards but to see Gods will and Jesus name be glorified upon the earth.
